Hi I have a MK4 from 2009 is this the same set up? It's a 2.0TDCi 140hp, I kept being told it's really difficult to do however if it is the same set up as this then I'll be laughing. Cheers, Luke.

You really should have measured if the opposing caps were inserted exactly the same amount, otherwise, you might get vibrations when it's not centered properly.

So I have an issue that I noticed the other week as I went down my street. Sounded like a shovel scraping on concrete. Nothing visible was noticed. It went away. But today driving on the highway over unpaved parts. I thought it was just that.. but I got back onto the smooth part and the noise persisted. I am hoping it is something as simple as this issue. As it DID just restart after going over the gravel-like part of the highway which they are in the process of redoing. I panicked and made a shop appointment for tomorrow but now I am thinking of skipping it and waiting it out to see if it goes away. Seeing as my car is pretty new and only has 11,000kms on it and i got my scheduled oil checks, tire changes and checked air pressure not long ago...surely it cant be that serious and I can wait it out and save money and time?

Hello. I have one Ford Mondeo mk4 2.0 tdci 140hp Peugeot diesel engine with automatic powershift. In park at 1.5 rpm I get vibrations. 2rpm and higher it is gone. also 1rpm then this is gone. What is this vibration? powershift gearbox or diesel delivery problems to the engine or diesel particulate filter. Has anyone come across this on this type of car and has experience?

buy a decent gun (milwaukee M18) for 2 reasons 1 to save time and 2 to prevent the risk of damaging the seal or plastics also you should never use the gun to tighten anything while any of the timing tools are in place

Think i need a new 5speed auto gearbox in my w204,it takes an age to go from 2nd to 3rd upwards,if i put my foot down,it revs its nuts off to 5,500rpm before changing gear from 2nd to 3rd,does anyone have any idea what could cause that,its a 2009 c220 cdi sport,any help would be appreciated

Hi had the same problem , inlet flap motor was replaced, fuse replaced, but after a short time the inlet flap motor and engine light (emissions workshop) came on again. Fuse has not blown again. Wondered if it was faulty d plug or rapid build up of soot in the valve body. Sorry posted on my wife’s login: Regards Dave. I had cleaned the original inlet flap valve as it was heavily sooted. I got it moving again but it blew a new fuse. So I replaced it with an after market unit which was £85 rather than £185. Any help would be appreciated.
